Yeah right! you can go ahead and make a good guess.... definitely you made a good guess football also known as soccer to the world, this is one sport that brings the world together. Football is the world's most popular ball game in terms of number of participants and spectators and you can't talk about football and not mention it's origin. Football is said to have originated from Great Britain in the nineteenth century by history before it became introduced to world at large. Football is one of the most accepted and biggest sport in the world.

The Assignment So this week work came with so much excitement and enthusiasm especially for the guys in the team if l must say as we have a lot of football fanatics amongst us. Getting dataset to work with wasn't a challenge, it didn't take 2 hours for the guys to come up with one for the team as they were so excited about the project and claimed it was their week of expertise, so it was really helpful getting our dataset so quick.

The Work Process The real work process started after easily getting a dataset to work with, some of the football fanatics became so involved as we had to clean up the dataset, including merging the data as they came in different years and editing them in the right format it wasn't so easy job as the data was really scattered, we got stuck at some point and our group channel for meetings and discussion was quiet for about two days. We had to summon courage and get back to work as the deadline for submission was drawing close, all thanks to our able team lead for bringing the energy back just as we started with at the beginning of the week.

The project We were told to work on Football World Cup Analysis using data from 1930 till present. Scrap, Clean and Visualize with Power BI. Our dashboard was required to show some certain metrics. This was the final result and insight we drew after going through all the necessary processes of cleaning the data and formatting where it was needed. We added Slicer for year only to make the dashboard interactive.

Football is an interesting sport that brings people from different background, races and cultures all over the world together in one place to enjoy the beauty of this sport. This is another year for football world cup which will be hosted in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022 and a lot of football lovers and fanatics are already looking forward to this great event.
